KUNSTMATRIX'S CONCEPT STILL WINS NOTORIETY
The Kunstmatrix creates virtual exhibition spaces for artists, galerists and collectors, and combines these exhibitions in a major internet portal. Instead of clicking on static photographic pictures of works of Art from an exhibition, the visitor of the Kunstmatrix can move himself freely in a 3D version. Therefore he can spatially experience paintings, sculptures, light installations and sound Art. With their business idea, the company won in 2008 the Founder Contest of the Ministry of Economy and Technology.
Scores of renowned galleries such as Hamish Morrison or Christian Hosp or auction houses like Bassenge and Hauff & Auvermann have set this forward-looking planning software up, in order to enable collectors worldwide to get a qualitative first-class access to their Art. In the same way, the Kunstmatrix serves archiving purposes or facilitates presentation proofs of complicated works of Art for curators. Artists such as Heinz Handschick, Volker Henze and Ted Marschall have already shown their enthusiasm for the possibilities of Art presentations independently from galleries.
TVYPE LAUNCHES ITS IPHONE APP
Our coachee tvype, the first german online market place for news pictures and videos, is going mobile thanks to its Iphone application. The civil reporters, who take pictures and films of amazing events on their way, are now able to upload them directly on the market place via the tvype Iphone App and get some cash out of it. From there, after examination, tvype is conveying and selling these visual material to professional news redactions.
HUNDREDS FOR TRIKOTON FASHION WEEK PARTY ON THE 08TH JULY 2010
trikoton is presenting its new Limited Edition for the band "Hundreds" during the Berlin Fashion Week, which is going to take place from the 7th to the 10th of July.
Hundreds is a Hamburg based band run by siblings Eva and Philipp Milner. They made an extended version of their single "Happy Virus" for this cooperation, which trikoton converted into a pattern and let knit into a scarf.
On this occasion, trikoton and Hundreds are organizing a party in the Roter Salon in Berlin. The public will have the opportunity to listen to "Hundreds" live and discover the scarfs with the hole pattern of Hundred's track for the first time. Besides, knitted buttons, fabric bags with a Hundreds motive and their CD and LP will also be available. The concert will be followed by a DJ Set of Remmidemmi.

DMY, FASHION WEEK, VIENNA FESTIVAL FOR FASHION & PHOTOGRAPHY - TRIKOTON IS EVERYWHERE!
Lots of news for http://tr/Trikoton these last weeks:
- Trikoton is among the 20 finalists of the "Start your Fashion Business". Out of 100 contestants they convinced the jury and won some more coaching days! Congratulations!
- Magdalena Kohler, Trikoton's fashion designer made it up to the 8 finalists of the fashion contest "Designer for Tomorrow" with her own collection. Her designs will be presented on July 9, during a show at the Berlin Fashion Week on Bebelplatz. The show will be broadcasted live on the Internet.
- From June 9-13, Hanna Wiesener?s work is exhibited at the International Design Festival DMY in the context of the "Sneak Preview" - booth organised by the UdK. She is presenting her project "Babel", a digital pocketbook, full of poetry, just like Trikoton?s fashion.
- From June 7-17, Trikoton takes part of the Vienna festival for fashion and photography. On this occasion, the brand organized a cooperation with the band Thalija, and launched a special edition of scarfs showing the pattern of a special Tahlija track. This special edition, as well as the famous recording box are displayed at the Galerie Gegenalltag.
