There is still no binding definition or explicit classification for the terms "cultural industries" vs. "creative industries", neither on a national nor an international level. These terms are sometimes used interchangeably, and sometimes they are differenciated on various levels. In the following interactive overview, we are using the pragmatic approach of the Berlin state:
